Patriot Act Re-authorization Quietly Sneaking Through

President Obama is quietly working with Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, to rush the re-authorization of the Patriot Act while the population isn't paying attention.

While Americans are being distracted by surges, signs of recovery and the Olympics, behind the curtain, plans are being made to sneak the Patriot Act re-authorization through the Senate as soon as they are back in session.

The oxymoronically named Patriot Act will be packaged as a Jobs Bill, and be sold to the public as part of a massive multi-billion dollar special interest giveaway that will further destabilize the American economy, while continuing to tread on the civil rights of Americans under a hyperbolic guise of security.
