Has Russia Weaponized Wikileaks?

Wikileaks has a reputation of impeccable accuracy and reliability. Anyone who's paying attention is aware that Wikileaks has been releasing a steady stream of Clinton related emails that expose the candidate for who she really is and what she really stands for.

The Hillary Clinton campaign is attempting to distract voters from the content of these documents by accusing Russia for the leaks that expose her as a racist, cheater, liar, ISIS enabler, inside trader, etc... And making the accusation that Russia has weaponized Wikileaks.

I think that it is much more likely that the NSA, (National Security Agency), or perhaps an individual at the NSA is responsible for providing the Clinton related documents to Wikileaks. We all know, (or should know), that the NSA stores everyone's email messages indefinitely, and if called upon, could confirm the accuracy of the Wikileaks documents.

The Clinton camp is even going so far as claiming that the email messages have been altered because there is no "real" defense* against the damning information contained therein. Wikileaks has nothing to gain by altering documents and is certainly no friend to Russia, so Hillary is grasping at anything that will serve to distract voters from the integrity of the information in these documents.

I hope that Hillary's supporters will remove their partisan blinders and take a good hard HONEST look at these documents. Don't be an ignoramus, make an educated decision.

* other than the mainstream media who seem to be more interested in protecting Clinton than accurate and responsible reporting. Maybe that's because many of the cable news outlets have also been exposed as co-conspirators with the Clinton camp.

Still Feelin' the Bern? or Just Feelin' Burned?

Bernie Sanders just endorsed his political rival, Hillary Clinton.

Now you have to make a choice. The media and establishment want you to think that you have to choose either a dog turd and a monkey turd. The fact is, you could choose a silver coin or a gold coin but the media establishment doesn't tell you about that option. Seriously though, you really don't have to choose either turd, (Clinton or Trump).

I'm going to pick the gold coin, Gary Johnson. He's the gold coin because he's the ONLY 3rd party candidate that will be on the ballot in ALL fifty states. He's also polling in double digits with almost zero media coverage.

Jill Stein is the silver coin. She's a much better option to the two turds too BUT will not be on the ballot on all fifty states. That means that she can't win.

Gary Johnson, two term Governor of New Mexico, is the ONLY candidate with executive administrative experience.

Bernie supporters will find that Johnson's positions on military interventionism, banks, equality and drug policy are in line with theirs.

Conservatives will identify with his sensible fiscal policy.

We really do have a choice. A good choice.
Don't choose poop. You deserve better.

Embrace 2016 to Ensure Candidates for Peace!

Last December, there was a lot of lip service being paid to the phrase, "Peace on Earth and good will to men." Now that we're only days away from the first presidential primaries, it's time to put your money where your mouth is and choose PEACE.

In 2016, the two major parties provide only two peace candidates out of all the presidential contestants; one per party. Those candidates are Bernie Sanders, (Democrat) and Rand Paul (Republican). Personally, I'm not thrilled with Sanders or Paul, but let there be no doubt, if any of the other candidates are elected, WAR will be the result. That includes Ms. Rodham-Clinton, who has expressed her interventionist intentions on numerous occasions.

Simply put, America can't afford another war. We can't even afford our current wars and continue to borrow money from China to pay for our excessive spending. A quarter of our national debt has been incurred by increased funding for big-government interventionist policies. War may be good for the military industrial complex, but carries with it numerous negative side effects that far outweigh any supposed benefit.

War:
  • Results in the deaths of far too many innocents
  • Fuels the refugee situation
  • Creates new enemies
  • Means sending our troops to kill, and die for greedy profiteers
  • Means that our quality of life at home continues to be downgraded
  • Brings the sacrifice our liberties for the promise of security, meanwhile our bridges and infrastructure crumble and society suffers
I have no delusion that Americans will suddenly wake up to a sense of our awful situation and vote responsibly. While I have serious doubts that either Sanders or Paul will be nominated by their respective parties, we have to make the effort, otherwise there is no hope for peace.

I also question the authenticity of voting and suspect wide-spread vote fraud in our electoral process. However, I do feel that it is imperative to take a stand for peace, especially individually at the polling stations.

It will be important for peace advocates to take certain steps to ensure that we have two peace candidates on the general election ballot:

    1. Register to vote.
    2. Vote and caucus for Sanders and Paul, depending on which party you are registered with.
3 Become a delicate, and/or find out who your delegates are, and convince them to support peace.
4 Be present when the votes are counted. Attempts will be made to count the votes secretly, but use your influence to make the tally public before the results are sent to party headquarters.
5 When you discover vote fraud in your precinct, make a big deal out of it. Write letters to editors, make YouTube videos and share on social media. Demand accountability.
I 'm not a naive Nevil Chamberlain. I'm well aware that there are lots of bad governments in the world. I also know that it is not America's job to be the policeman, judge, jury and executioner of the world.

Be careful what you vote for.

A vote for Clinton, Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Bush, etc. is a sustained affirmation for perpetual war, and there will be "blood on the hands" of those who elect warmongers.

If you are registered as a Democrat or Republican, please consider the importance and weight of your decision, and support your peace candidate! Then, maybe by some miracle, peace will break out.

Peace on earth and good will toward all mankind.

Mitt - the Documentary - the OTHER Other Side

The new documentary about Mitt Romney, appropriately titled, Mitt, recently premiered at the renowned Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and is currently available exclusively through Netflix.

Mitt imparts captivating insight from behind the scenes of America's most recent presidential campaign. Mitt is endearing and melts away Governor Romney's stuffy public persona and portrays the Republican candidate as a genuine, caring family man with only the best intentions for America. The editors did a convincing job of making Mitt Romney seem like a nice, normal, ordinary guy.

The well filmed documentary begins with a short scene on the night of the 2012 election as a somber Romney family realizes that Mitt has lost the election and would soon have to make a concession speech. As the candidate chokes back tears, he inquires jokingly, "Does anyone have the president's phone number? ...I hadn't thought of that."

Flash Back to 2008

Another short scene rewinds the clock back a half decade, and finds the Romneys sledding together down a snowy slope. Later on, the entire Romney clan is seen sitting comfortably in one of their many living rooms, discussing the pros and cons of a potential presidential run... the first run back in 2008.

Less than ten minutes into the documentary we see a handful of candid clips from the 2008 campaign trail as Mitt appears in various cities to woo primary voters in key states. Polls indicate that McCain and Romney are in a virtual tie while Mitt laments how unfair it is that the media and establishment machine is taking sides by labeling him as a flip-flopper and lending credibility to McCain. A Romney victory is squelched by the revelation of Florida Governor Charlie Crist's endorsement of McCain, breaking his promise to Mitt that he'd remain neutral. Never trust a politician.

Major Edit

Suddenly, it is four years later, and with absolutely no mention or discussion about the dirty 2012 Republican Primary, we find Mitt Romney at the GOP Convention accepting the 2012 nomination for President of the United States. Did I miss something?

Caucus Raucous - the Other Other Side

Mitt is a documentary about family unity and support more than anything else, but the most historically and politically important story about Mitt Romney is the one that wasn't told in this documentary.

The untold story is regarding the unsavory activities of Mitt's minions who performed shameful acts of thuggery to ensure that the establishment's anointed man would become the Republican presidential candidate. One must wonder how Mr. Romney's pious Mormon family feels about the bone breaking, hip dislocating, ballot stuffing, tally altering, caucus canceling, delegate displacing, rule changing and other dishonest activities that occurred in Mitt's name during the primary and at the Republican Convention. That is the documentary that Americans need to see in order to possess a proper understanding of the 2012 election, the state of politics in America and especially the corrupt leadership of Republican Party.

The Wrong Man

At the end of the  documentary, the viewer is made to feel as though America chose the wrong person to be president in 2012. Well, Americans did choose the wrong person, but the right person wasn't Mitt Romney.

2013 Top Stories in Rhetrospective

2013 has been a year of vindication for the Zenberg Blogue and everyone else who has raised a voice of concern regarding unconstitutional and questionable activities of US government officials.

It seems the mainstream media was unable to ignore many of the glaring disclosures of 2013 and has reluctantly brought some of these issues to the forefront of American and world consciousness.

1 The Edward Snowden story

Probably the most important and underrated story of the year if not the century. Thanks to the heroic act of the NSA whistle blower, anyone who is paying attention now knows that the NSA has repeatedly lied to Americans and the world about its unconstitutional surveillance program. In short, Mr. Snowden revealed that the NSA has been storing every telephone conversation, every text and every email of every American and world citizen. And since Snowden's expose' revealed only about 1% of NSA's unconstitutional activities, let's hope that we'll be hearing more from this truth-telling traitor* in the near future.

Drone assassinations of Americans

It took a long time for the Obama Administration to say that assassination drones wouldn't be used to target American citizens within the borders of the United States. On the other hand, President Obama has demonstrated that he's not afraid to kill Americans or anyone else with drones outside the US, and so far, has murdered thousands of innocent women and children in the program that has been criticized as having only 1% effectiveness at killing the target. It is estimated that fifty innocent people die every time Obama attempts to assassinate someone with a drone.

IRS targets groups critical of Obama

The press made it appear as though only Tea Party and other unsavory conservative groups were targeted by the IRS when in reality, so were groups associated with the Occupy Movement and others opposed to Obama's wars and domestic abuses. Free speech comes with a price when it's critical of the President's naughtiness.

It should be obvious to anyone who is paying attention that government officials have repeatedly lied to us in their pursuit of agendas that are not intended to be in the best interest of the citizenry.

*We know who the REAL traitors are.

Halloween WARdrobe 2013

Time to start thinking about Halloween costumes again.

Rhetro Zenberg's pick for best Halloween costume for 2013 is this awesome WARbama ensemble.

One might wonder why depicting President Obama as a WARmonger is an appropriate costume for Halloween. Here are a few good reasons why this is the scariest WARdrobe for not only Halloween, but every day since Obama's reign of terror began.

1 Obama has deployed over 30,000 troops to WAR zones.

2 He started a WAR in Libya.
3 He is attempting to start another WAR with Syria, (pending).
4 His personal drone WAR has already resulted in the deaths of over 2,400 innocent men, women and children in Pakistan alone, (the Guardian). The US isn't even at WAR with Pakistan
5 His administration provided guns to Mexican drug cartels that resulted in the violent deaths of hundreds if not thousands of Mexican citizens, (Fast and Furious Scandal).
6 He re-authorized the Patriot Act and signed the National Defense Authorization Act, (NDAA), declaring WAR on American citizens.

WAR is Peace

Happy Halloween!
Have a nice WAR... or three or four!

Sequester Does NOT = Tax Cuts

Pro-war Republicans and even some Democrats are fear mongering Americans with talk of alleged "cuts" in military spending. Be assured that military spending is NOT about to decrease.

This scare tactic is designed to head off sequestration, which only reduces automatic spending increases and only nibbles away at the massive increases proposed for the military budget.

So, next time you hear Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck crying about our poor neglected military not getting enough funding, remember that it is a smoke screen and that not a dime will actually be cut from the institutions responsible for a quarter of our national debt. The military industrial complex is alive and well... and coming to a neighborhood near you.

Obama Put the Uh, in Duh!

Drinking games were wildly popular during the presidential debate last night. Hopefully no one took a shot every time Obama said, uh, because they'd no doubt be dead from alcohol poisoning. I'm going to watch the debate again just to count
the president's uh's. There were at least, uh, two uh's in, uh, every sentence... and this is from a guy who is, uh, supposed to be, uh, such an eloquent speaker. He sounded as moronic as George W Bush. And Romney looked like a puppy who wanted to jump into Obama's lap and lick his face :-)

Where's Ron Paul?

While most every politician on either side of the aisle has chimed in regarding Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney's premature selection for a vice presidential running mate, the other Republican presidential candidate still in the race, Congressman Ron Paul, has yet to comment on this development, and has been harder to find than Waldo.

Romney isn't even the official Republican presidential candidate yet, nevertheless, he has boldly announced his running mate earlier than any other Republican in history. A shrewd tactic designed to pull the wool over America's eyes, effectively distracting them of the reality that Ron Paul is still a viable candidate with hundreds of loyal delegates who will never support a Romney/Ryan nomination, no matter what.

The Romney camp has been anxiously engaged in conducting vote fraud, and breaking rules, (even broken bones), to ensure that Paul's delegates are discredited and thwarted from attending the Republican Convention in Tampa, Florida later this month.

Meanwhile, Paul Ryan is being hailed as an articulate and smart politician with a plan to balance the budget in three decades. Ron Paul's plan will balance the budget in three years, a quarter century sooner than Ryan's plan, and promises to return America to what it used to be and is supposed to be... a nation of liberty and freedom. A nation that doesn't militarily or covertly meddle in the affairs of other nations, or spy on it's own citizens with thousands of surveillance drones or cyber intrusion.

One thing is sure. Ron Paul and his loyal supporters aren't going away, and will do everything in their legal power to ensure that Romney won't have an easy coronation in Tampa as the mainstream corporate owned media would have American's believe.

Eleven Reasons to Vote For Mitt Romney in Utah's Last-in-Nation Primary

On Tuesday, the Beehive State will become the last-in-nation state to hold a presidential primary election. The pundits are saying that Mitt Romney will be your Republican candidate, so here are eleven reasons for the folks who live behind the Zion Curtain to vote for Mitt Romney.

You think that America should continue to be the policeman of the world, and force rogue nations to behave.

You like the idea of torturing people who have never been charged of a crime.

You think America should continue to give billions of dollars to nations that are hostile to us.

4 You think the United States Constitution is outdated and that Americans should be arrested by the military and detained indefinitely without due process.

You think that it is a good idea to continue deficit spending.

6 You agree that corporations are people.

7 You think that a war with Iran is a good idea.

8 You think that liberty is overrated and that freedom is dangerous.

9 You think it is a good idea to spy on innocent American's every telephone conversation, keystroke and text.

10 You approve of a presidential assassination list that targets people, including Americans, without due process of law.

11 You think that giving up liberties in exchange for a more secure state will make you safer.

Have a nice primary!

Why LDS, (Mormons) Should NOT Support Mitt Romney for President of the United States

No other group of people has put its support behind Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, more than the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have. This fact is particularly alarming to me in light of the fact that some of Mr. Romney's stated positions are in blatant opposition to, what I see as, Latter-day Saints' most respected beliefs, and as an informed Mormon, I am worried that my brethren and sisters are unwittingly being led into a trap.

And God created man in His own image

And Mitt Romney spake saying, "Corporations are people too, my friend."

Latter-day Saints have a particularly profound concept of what constitutes a person. Mormons believe that every person who is born on Earth, regardless of creed, color or political party, is literally a spirit child of God who lived with Heavenly Father before coming to Earth to receive a body. This concept of pre-existence gives Latter-day Saints a unique perspective of a person's role in the eternities. To Mormons, people are literally eternal beings who are continually progressing toward perfection. Or as Mormon prophet Lorenzo Snow stated, "As man is, God once was, and as God is, man may become."

Mitt Romney no doubt believes this too, but the popular presidential candidate has broadened his definition of people to include corporations. In other words, Mitt Romney believes that "corporations are people," created with special rights and privileges that provide them a "more equal" status than that of the people who are legitimately the children of God. In reality, corporations are soulless entities that are NOT the children of God, nor do corporations have any share in God's kingdom, therefore Mr. Romney's view of what constitutes a person is blasphemous at best in light of the eternal potential of real people, created in the image of God. Not surprisingly, corporations are Mr. Romney's biggest financial supporters and have poured tens of millions of dollars into his presidential campaign.

The Constitution is Hanging by a Thread

To Mormons, the US Constitution is a document inspired by God to protect the liberties of American citizens from intrusive government activities. The Prophet Joseph Smith warned that the time would come when personal liberties would be in great peril in America, and that the Elders of Zion, would save the constitution which he said would be "hanging by a thread." Mitt Romney wants to snip that thread and do away with the personal liberties Americans have enjoyed for over two centuries by supporting the ever intrusive Patriot Act, and more recently, the NDAA which was signed into law on January 1, 2012 by President Obama. By his endorsement of the NDAA, Mitt Romney is in favor of giving the military the authority to assassinate or arrest any American, anywhere, and detain them indefinitely without legal representation and never charging them of a crime. And as if that isn't bad enough, Mr. Romney is in favor of reinstating the heinous torture technique of water-boarding to extract information from detainees deemed as enemies of the state. Mormons were once considered to be enemies of the state, and when history repeats itself, will again find themselves under governmental scrutiny.

Golden Rule - Would the Prophet Joseph Smith vote for Mitt Romney?

International sovereignty was a topic of major concern to the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith, Jr. who, while running for President of the United States in 1844, proclaimed:

“I will adopt in part the language of Mr. Madison’s inaugural address, To cherish peace and friendly intercourse with all nations, having correspondent dispositions; to maintain sincere neutrality towards belligerent nations; to prefer in all cases amicable discussion and reasonable accommodation of intrigues and foreign partialities, so degrading to all countries, and so baneful to free ones; to foster a spirit of independence too just to invade the rights of others...”

Obviously the Prophet Joseph Smith's views of national sovereignty are in direct opposition to those of Mitt Romney, whose pro-war rhetoric toward Iran is putting the US at risk and making the world more volatile. Iran is paying attention and taking Mr. Romney's threats of crippling sanctions, espionage, regime change, and preemptive attacks seriously. Latter-day Saints, as proclaimed Christians, should consider our situation from Iran's perspective. How would we react  if a proclaimed enemy to America was flying drones through our airspace, threatening us with preemptive military strikes, and regime change? We shouldn't expect Iran to behave any differently than we would, and according to the Prophet Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ, our policy should be to do unto Iran as we would have Iran do unto us.

Mitt Romney may be a great businessman, father and husband, but as a statesman, he is dangerous to our nation and the freedoms we enjoy here. His lack of regard for humanity should be a serious concern to Latter-day Saints and everyone who loves liberty.

Suspicious Caucus Manipulation by Romney Camp in Maine

The Romney campaign, in league* with Wall Street and the news media, would have you believe that Willard (Mitt) won the Maine Caucus on Saturday, but the fact is, all of the votes have not been counted, or even cast for that matter, and Willard Romney will soon see his corporate financed 3% lead evaporate and will have to concede to Ron Paul, the people's choice.

It would have been an obvious win for Ron Paul in Maine, but in Washington County, (a Ron Paul stronghold), the Chair, who just happens to be a Romney supporter, decided to postpone the caucus until February 18. The bad weather that was blamed for the postponement, didn't hinder local Girl Scout meetings, though.

Unfortunately for Willard, when all of the votes are finally counted in Maine, he'll be forced to give up another win, like happened in Iowa last month when it was determined that Rick Santorum actually won the first in nation primary.

Cowboy Poetique and Ron Paul in Elko, NV

What's semi-opaque and rhymes with varmint? That'd be Mitt Romney, (his real name is Willard after all).

OK, granted. Cowboy poetry isn't for everyone, but the folks who it is for are willing to pay big buck$ to hear Marlboro-moustached men, (and sometimes women), orating about the minutest details of red-neck philosophy. One thing is sure, the annual Cowboy Poetry event generates big revenues for Elko, Nevada, and is, in reality, a dang good time.

On Thursday afternoon, lots of lucky Elko citizens had an opportunity to meet the most un-hyphenated American person in... well, America, or anywhere. Presidential candidate Ron Paul, who dropped in to encourage citizens of the Silver State to caucus for liberty this weekend.

Today, Willard, (Mitt Romney), stopped in Elko to encourage Nevadans to support the unconstitutional detention, and even assassinations of Americans without due process of law.

It's kinda interesting... The choice between three turds and a jewel seems pretty simple, but let's see how he folks in Nevada choose.

Lots of balloons

The Christian Case for Ron Paul for President of the United States of America

FAITH
The right of a person to worship without fear of persecution is important to Ron Paul who has worked to protect Americans by opposing legislation that corrodes religious liberties and has supported policies that promote personal and religious freedom. Ron Paul has fought to keep the government out of the churches, has proven to be incorruptible, and will be a good ambassador of Christianity throughout the world. Christian Americans shouldn't fear liberty, but through faith, should put liberty to the test. Vote for FAITH, vote for Ron Paul.

FAMILY
The current condition of the economy puts a terrible strain on American families, and Ron Paul has the best plan for getting the economy back on track. War is another terrible reality for families to deal with. Too often, soldiers with families are forced to leave their children when they're deployed. Sometimes they don't come back, or return home permanently disabled only to find that the VA is either unwilling or ill equipped to deal with their condition. Our returning soldiers deserve better than that. It's no wonder that our active military personnel have put their financial support behind Ron Paul more than all of other candidates combined. They know better than anyone what is best for military families.

Our soldiers and military families aren't the only families suffering the effects of war. Our undeclared military interventions have resulted in the deaths of more than a million innocent men women and children from our bombing campaigns and the unsanitary conditions that followed. War is the enemy of all families, everywhere, and contrary to God's will for His creation, "peace on Earth, and good will toward men." Vote for FAMILY, vote for Ron Paul.

LIFE
Dr. Ron Paul has delivered thousands of babies and is in favor of reversing the Supreme Court decision on RVW. And since war, like abortion, kills thousands of innocent human beings, he promises to commit troops, only by congressional declaration, and only when all other peaceful attempts to negotiate have failed. To Ron Paul, the Christian principle of doing unto others as we would have them do unto us, applies on the international level, and we could thwart an unnecessary war with Iran by adhering to that precept. Ron Paul's good will toward mankind is honorable, and would encourage a more peaceful Earth, and facilitate the spread of Christianity throughout the world, maybe even Iran.

Contrarily, the pro-war rhetoric coming from all of the other candidates actually contributes to making the world more volatile. Iran is paying attention to the candidates' threats, and taking them seriously. As Christians, we should look at the situation from Iran's perspective. How would we react? America would consider it to be an act of war if Iran was flying drones through our airspace, threatening us with preemptive military strikes, and regime change. We shouldn't expect Iran to behave any differently than we would. I understand that sometimes war is necessary, but there is some amount of hypocrisy in claiming to be pro life while at the same time, perpetuating the same failed policies of undeclared wars that destroy so much LIFE unnecessarily.

Let us be firm in our trust of the Lord, and do unto Iran as we would have Iran do unto us. Let us be the Christian example in the world, the city on the hill, whose light projects a better way for mankind, and whose good deeds ultimately glorify God. Vote for LIFE, vote for Ron Paul

STRONG DEFENSE
Ron Paul has been sounding the voice of warning from the watchtower for decades, and fortunately, lots of Americans are awaking to a sense of our awful situation. Ron Paul should be retiring, but he understands the dangerous situation America is in, and is willing to give us his all to protect and preserve our great nation, God bless him for his indefatigable spirit and willingness to stand for the TRUTH. America's (metaphorical) defense walls are crumbling, and Ron Paul will shore them up, and fortify them - placing watchmen on every tower. With secure borders, and our troops out of harm's way, America will be safer, and stronger. Vote for a STRONG DEFENSE, vote for Ron Paul.

ELECTABLE
Ron Paul has the best chance to defeat President Obama in November because he stands on the foundation of TRUTH and PEACE. I don't think any of the other GOP candidates' policies would find as much favor with the Lord, and would ultimately be an embarrassment to true believers, therefore we should support the one man who stands for everything a true Christian could hope for in a president. Anyone else would be impudent against Obama, and/or an inadequate choice to deal with America's problems at the most vulnerable time in our nation's history. Vote for the candidate who will defeat Obama in 2012, ELECT Ron Paul for President of the United States of America.

Election Blues - The Hypnotic States of America

When I see election results, I realize that I'm not like everyone else. Not many people are interested in propaganda, handwriting analysis and body language, some of my favorite pass times that are not only lots of fun, but help me interpret my world.

"Why WILL you say that I am mad?"

I had an epiphany while attending a high school assembly that featured a professional hypnotist. It was entertaining watching the on stage volunteers do all kinds of zany things they would normally never do otherwise. At one point, the hypnotist mesmerized the entire audience... except me it turned out. I looked around as my friends, peers and teachers followed the hypnotists commands, doing whatever he told them to, then, after counting and snapping his finger, everyone returned to themselves.

OK, what does this all have to do with election results? I have to keep reminding myself that most people are walking around in a state of hypnotic suggestion. Why else would anyone vote for Santorum or Romney? Of course! They're just responding to their hypnotic commands, and in their suggestible state of mind, they never have to actually think about the awful effects of their choices that they think are their own.

Are Mitt Romney's Policies Contrary to the Mormon Concept of Free-Agency?

I've lived in Utah for five months now and I have discovered that there is a lot of support among Latter-day Saints, (Mormons), for Mitt Romney here in the Beehive State. The local news stations regularly feature a story on Mr. Romney, even on no-Romney news days. He has the inter-mountain area media in his pocket, so there's no wonder the people here are so pro-Romney. They, for the most part, don't know any better.

I thought it would be a good idea to examine Mr. Romney's positions in light of Mormon theology, as well as some political positions of the first Mormon Prophet, and church founder, Joseph Smith Jr., who ran for president in the nineteenth century.

In the Beginning - Mormon Cosmology 101 - WAR in Heaven

To Latter-day Saints, everyone who has the opportunity to live on Earth, existed previously with God as His spirit-children.

God created the Earth to provide physical bodies for His spirit children to inhabit and exercise free-agency, and experience the cause and effect of mortal conditions... all part of the eternal progression of God's children, who can ultimately return to live in His presence.

To Mormons, free-agency is God's plan that allows man to chose his own destiny, learning from his mistakes, and hopefully, progressing toward perfection.

Some mortals however, will inevitably make decisions that result in their deviation from their path toward perfection, and being forever separated from God.

In Mormon theology, Lucifer is one of God's spirit children, who presented a plan by which ALL of God's children would be saved. Lucifer's plan would have done away with free-agency, and forced mankind to adhere to his commandments. Lucifer's plan that promised a 100 percent return rate was so popular among God's spirit children, that 1/3 of them sided with him on the matter.

A war in Heaven ensued. Lucifer and his hosts, attempted an overthrow of the heavenly kingdom, as God and His hosts fought for humanity's free-agency. The war resulted in 1/3 of Heaven's population being cast out, never to receive a physical body, thus thwarting their eternal progression. Lucifer became the Devil, and those who followed him are now demonic beings.

Mormon leaders have indicated that the war on free-agency continues, and that, in part, the earthly wars that we experience are a perpetuation or extension of the war in heaven.

Where does Mitt Fit?

Mitt Romney has taken the position that he will do anything, (crippling sanctions, espionage, preemptive strikes, war), to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power in the Middle East. In terms of Mormon theology, by preventing the sovereign nation of Iran from pursuing it's own interests, Mitt Romney is siding with Lucifer and those who would diminish free-agency in this world.

International sovereignty was a topic of major concern to the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith Jr. who, while running for President of the United States said:

“I will adopt in part the language of Mr. Madison’s inaugural address, ‘To cherish peace and friendly intercourse with all nations, having correspondent dispositions; to maintain sincere neutrality towards belligerent nations; to prefer in all cases amicable discussion and reasonable accommodation of intrigues and foreign partialities, so degrading to all countries, and so baneful to free ones; to foster a spirit of independence too just to invade the rights of others, too proud to surrender their own, too liberal to indulge unworthy prejudices ourselves, and too elevated not to look down upon them in others.’”

Romney's position couldn't be more in opposition to that of his church's founder, whom Latter-day Saints revere as a Prophet, Seer and Revelator.

Mitt Romney is also in favor of the intrusive bureaucratic leverage imposed by the Patriot Act, and it's policies that strip away more of American's free-agency than any previous legislation.

You don't have to be a Mormon to know that it is wrong to arrest people and detain them indefinitely, without charging them of a crime. Any moral person recognizes that unlawful imprisonment robs a person of his/her freedom, and is an affront to the Judeo/Christian principle of treating others in a way that will reciprocate like behavior...

Nevertheless, Mitt Romney is in favor of detaining uncharged individuals indefinitely, in prisons maintained and paid for with American tax dollars. He's also in favor of doing "whatever it takes" to extract information from these detainees that will help us to win the war on terror. So, to Mr. Romney, torture is just another tool in the war on terror. Never mind that torture is immoral, in addition to being illegal according to United States and international law. It's also downright un-American.

Unfortunately, most Mormons are satisfied with the quick soundbites they are fed, and are not interested in actually knowing anything substantive about Mr. Romney, other than he's a good family man and a snappy dresser.

The Secret Lives of ABC/Yahoo Social Engineers - How to Make Ron Paul Disappear, or the $10,000 Bet that Cost Romney the Republican Nomination

I was shocked by last night's Republican debate that was broadcast and streamed live on ABC/Yahoo. Shocked, because it was so poorly and unfairly presented. Shame on both ABC and Yahoo for their manipulative program that made it seem as though the debate was all about Romney and Gingrich.

I streamed the debate live on Yahoo, and participated in the interactive on-air poll that instantly displayed the results of the sixteen questions as they were answered. Unfortunately, the questions were either exclusively Newt vs. Mitt, or didn't provide adequate options to correctly answer them. In other words, the poll was designed to manipulate public opinion rather than reflect it.

There was one question in the poll that provided a glimmer of hope though, "Would you like to hear more from Ron Paul tonight?" I clicked the yes option and when I viewed the results of that question, the answers were overwhelmingly in favor, but we didn't hear a whole lot more from Ron Paul, even though he has consistently polled as a top tier candidate throughout the campaign, and maintains a strong second place in Iowa.

Last time ABC hosted a Republican debate, Ron Paul was allowed only 89 seconds to respond to moderators' questions. This time he got a few more seconds, but nothing in comparison to all of the other candidates, even those who have consistently polled in low single digits. Once again, ABC has silenced Paul simply by ignoring him. I wonder why they are so afraid of his message of peace, freedom and equality. Perhaps ABC/Yahoo prefers war, tyranny and the belief that corporate persons are created more equal than REAL people.

Mighty Mo and I actually had fun imitating the gestures of the various candidates. Newt did some convincing podium thumping, and just like in the previous debate, uplifted his hands and demonstrated the messiah stance. I noticed that he winked at one of the moderators at least two times as well. I wonder which one???

As usual, Mitt made a lot of nervous hurky-jerky left handed stick shift gestures. Mitt's PR people were, no doubt, thrilled when he demonstrated that he can remember seven things. I'm sure they were equally horrified when their candidate made a $10,000 bet with the insignificant Texas Governor who, in a previous debate, demonstrated that he had difficulty remembering the three government agencies that he would cut if he should become president. Unfortunately for the Romney campaign though, folks won't remember or even care what the bet was about. What will be remembered is Mitt's tasteless wager that cost him the nomination.
