Crab in Honey - Fever the Ghost's Sparkling EP

It was only a dream.

I sat up in bed to see the time. 4:21 AM. The song, Calico, by Fever the Ghost playing in my head as I attempted to make sense of the strange dream I had just had. Something about time travelers... That's it. The band Fever the Ghost were time travelers in my dream and had come to visit... from the future or the past... or deep space, I'm not quite sure.

I don't recall any of the details of the strange dream now, but I'm impressed that Fever the Ghost had invaded my psyche to influence my subconscious.

On the previous day, Mr. Postman had delivered the parcel that contained my new Fever the Ghost EP, Crab in Honey... a beautifully crafted, double 7" record set, that I played a half dozen times. So far, it's the best thing I've heard this year.
Fever the Ghost is a fairly new phenomenon, and according to a mysterious entity* named Luther, the band has "been charged with sparkling** the Los Angeles music scene." He added that "it is imperative that their sparkling is enjoyed by as many receptors*** as possible..." and warned of grave consequences for the band should there be failure to sparkle sufficiently.

Fever the Ghost materialized in 2013 under the direct supervision of Swell Swann Corporation. The ethereal ensemble is garrisoned by Casper, Bobby, Mason and Nick O who hermetically indurate with tranquil like-mindedness. Their sparkling EP, Crab in Honey, is sticky and sweet but requires some effort to crack through its tough crustaceaous exoskeleton to access and enjoy the tender interior. Good eatin'

I'm looking forward to hearing more from this phantasmal ensemble and plan to witness them as they materialize at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City, UT on March 18, 2014.

It was only a dream... or was it?

Mitt - the Documentary - the OTHER Other Side

The new documentary about Mitt Romney, appropriately titled, Mitt, recently premiered at the renowned Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and is currently available exclusively through Netflix.

Mitt imparts captivating insight from behind the scenes of America's most recent presidential campaign. Mitt is endearing and melts away Governor Romney's stuffy public persona and portrays the Republican candidate as a genuine, caring family man with only the best intentions for America. The editors did a convincing job of making Mitt Romney seem like a nice, normal, ordinary guy.

The well filmed documentary begins with a short scene on the night of the 2012 election as a somber Romney family realizes that Mitt has lost the election and would soon have to make a concession speech. As the candidate chokes back tears, he inquires jokingly, "Does anyone have the president's phone number? ...I hadn't thought of that."

Flash Back to 2008

Another short scene rewinds the clock back a half decade, and finds the Romneys sledding together down a snowy slope. Later on, the entire Romney clan is seen sitting comfortably in one of their many living rooms, discussing the pros and cons of a potential presidential run... the first run back in 2008.

Less than ten minutes into the documentary we see a handful of candid clips from the 2008 campaign trail as Mitt appears in various cities to woo primary voters in key states. Polls indicate that McCain and Romney are in a virtual tie while Mitt laments how unfair it is that the media and establishment machine is taking sides by labeling him as a flip-flopper and lending credibility to McCain. A Romney victory is squelched by the revelation of Florida Governor Charlie Crist's endorsement of McCain, breaking his promise to Mitt that he'd remain neutral. Never trust a politician.

Major Edit

Suddenly, it is four years later, and with absolutely no mention or discussion about the dirty 2012 Republican Primary, we find Mitt Romney at the GOP Convention accepting the 2012 nomination for President of the United States. Did I miss something?

Caucus Raucous - the Other Other Side

Mitt is a documentary about family unity and support more than anything else, but the most historically and politically important story about Mitt Romney is the one that wasn't told in this documentary.

The untold story is regarding the unsavory activities of Mitt's minions who performed shameful acts of thuggery to ensure that the establishment's anointed man would become the Republican presidential candidate. One must wonder how Mr. Romney's pious Mormon family feels about the bone breaking, hip dislocating, ballot stuffing, tally altering, caucus canceling, delegate displacing, rule changing and other dishonest activities that occurred in Mitt's name during the primary and at the Republican Convention. That is the documentary that Americans need to see in order to possess a proper understanding of the 2012 election, the state of politics in America and especially the corrupt leadership of Republican Party.

The Wrong Man

At the end of the  documentary, the viewer is made to feel as though America chose the wrong person to be president in 2012. Well, Americans did choose the wrong person, but the right person wasn't Mitt Romney.

2013 Top Stories in Rhetrospective

2013 has been a year of vindication for the Zenberg Blogue and everyone else who has raised a voice of concern regarding unconstitutional and questionable activities of US government officials.

It seems the mainstream media was unable to ignore many of the glaring disclosures of 2013 and has reluctantly brought some of these issues to the forefront of American and world consciousness.

1 The Edward Snowden story

Probably the most important and underrated story of the year if not the century. Thanks to the heroic act of the NSA whistle blower, anyone who is paying attention now knows that the NSA has repeatedly lied to Americans and the world about its unconstitutional surveillance program. In short, Mr. Snowden revealed that the NSA has been storing every telephone conversation, every text and every email of every American and world citizen. And since Snowden's expose' revealed only about 1% of NSA's unconstitutional activities, let's hope that we'll be hearing more from this truth-telling traitor* in the near future.

Drone assassinations of Americans

It took a long time for the Obama Administration to say that assassination drones wouldn't be used to target American citizens within the borders of the United States. On the other hand, President Obama has demonstrated that he's not afraid to kill Americans or anyone else with drones outside the US, and so far, has murdered thousands of innocent women and children in the program that has been criticized as having only 1% effectiveness at killing the target. It is estimated that fifty innocent people die every time Obama attempts to assassinate someone with a drone.

IRS targets groups critical of Obama

The press made it appear as though only Tea Party and other unsavory conservative groups were targeted by the IRS when in reality, so were groups associated with the Occupy Movement and others opposed to Obama's wars and domestic abuses. Free speech comes with a price when it's critical of the President's naughtiness.

It should be obvious to anyone who is paying attention that government officials have repeatedly lied to us in their pursuit of agendas that are not intended to be in the best interest of the citizenry.

*We know who the REAL traitors are.
